D’banj House Photos, Cost & Address
With a net worth of over $13.5 million, D’banj’s house would rank as the dream home of every Nigerian looking for the most comfortable shelter.
The Koko master ranks as one of the richest musicians in the Nigerian music industry. This should make it easy for the musician to acquire the best house in the most expensive locations in Nigeria.
In this article, we are going to share exclusive information on D’banj’s house, its location, it’s worth and photos of the mansion. But first, let’s take a quick look at the life of D’banj.
Who is D’banj?
Although we know him by his stage name D’banj, his real names are Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo. D’banj who was born in 1980 is a Nigerian entrepreneur, musician, rapper, singer, songwriter, and television personality.
D’banj is one of the most famous figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry with a lot of awards and singles to his name. He would as well be the most decorated Nigeria Musician of the 21st century with 29 Awards and 87 Nominations since the inception of his career.
D’banj lived a fairly luxurious life being the son of a Military man and a businesswoman. He was expected to become a military officer and was thus enrolled in Military School. However, he dropped out and completed his secondary school education in the Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Ibara, Abeokuta.
D’banj professional musical career began when he met Don Jazzy while he was in the UK for his studies. Don Jazzy, at the time, was working to become a songwriter and producer and the pair began a partnership that marked the beginning of D’banj’s musical career.
After returning to Lagos in 2004, they both released the single “Tongolo” which earned D’banj his first endorsement deal from an energy drink brand “Power Fist”. The duo formed the record label Mo’Hits Records which hit the rocks some years later. After the separation, D’banj went on to become one of the top musical icons with the release of his summer single “Oliver Twist”.
With so many endorsements, hit songs, business ventures to mention but a few, D’banj has been able to amass a wealth only few could ever acquire in their lifetime.
The artist has been able to afford the good things of life including a mansion in one of the luxurious areas in Nigeria. There was news in circulation that the artist had moved from his former house in Lekki Area in Lagos which he converted to an office. However, there was no concrete information on his new home.
D’banj did the honors by sharing photos of his new home in 2018 and we can all agree it is quite impressive. The house is also located in Lagos but in Ikoyi area which is another highbrow area in the city of Lagos.
From the photos, we can all notice that the sitting room has a massive television which is something you can’t find in the home of any other Nigerian celebrity. There were no photos of the furniture in the living room but we expect them to be up to taste and quality.
Moving forward, you can find an indoor swimming pool (another thing you rarely see in Nigerian celebrity houses). However, the addition of an indoor swimming pool to his home might have been his undoing as the artist lost his son who drowned after falling into the pool.
Nevertheless, the pool still remains a part of D’banj’s home. We noticed a lot of paintings of the artist and several awards on the walls.
While we couldn’t get many views of the bedroom, kitchen and other parts of the mansion, we can definitely agree that it would be nothing short of impressive. It is quite difficult to pin the worth of the house as we didn’t get any official information from the artist. It is also difficult for us to estimate the worth of the mansion as we couldn’t get any pictures of the exterior and other parts of the house.
However, the house is expected to be worth millions of Nigeria due to the location and the features we have already seen. D’banj was ranked the richest solo artist in 2016 by T.I.N Magazine and while he has stepped down from the position in recent years, he is still capable of spending millions to acquire a good home for himself and his wife.
It is believed that the artist has a mansion in London, but we are yet to confirm if he is the owner of the house.
